THE PROJECT:
Principal Investigator Angeliki Brouzgou
Associate Professor (Dr Chemical Engineer). She has been serving UTH since 2021 and specializes in electrochemical devices and nanotechnology. She graduated as Chemical Engineer from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2007 and in 2009 she received postgraduate degree on ‘pollution control technologies’ from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of University of Thessaly (UTH). Ιn 2013 she was awarded her Ph.D., in fuel cells by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of UTH. In the following years, 2013 to 2020, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher on fuel cells and nanomaterials, receiving three scholarships, at the: i) Laboratory of Alternative Conversion Systems of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the University of Thessaly, ii) Low-carbon Chemistry & Energy Conservation of Guangdong Province, School of Physics and Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China, iii) École Nationale supérieure de chimie de Paris, Université de Paris, Paris, France and at the iv) Istituto di Tecnologie Avanzate per l’energia “Nicola Giordano” (CNR-ITAE), Messina. Her main research activities focus on fuel cells, nanomaterials, and electrochemical sensors.
